May be called in for an interview with the Ministry of Transportation where you need to explain why your licence should not be suspended. Missing the interview may result in automatic licence suspension.

Must surrender licence to the Minstory of Transportation if you accumulate 9 or more points within a 2 year period.
At that point, your licence will be suspended for 60 days from the date you surrender your licence. Failing to surrender your licence could result in your licence being suspended for 2 years.
After your suspension, the number of points on your driving record will be 4 demerit points. After that, any offences you commit in violation of the Highway Traffic Act will result in those new demerit point offences being added to your record.
You may then be called for an interview again if you reach 9 or more points. At that time your licence can be suspended for 6 months.
