| Alexander the Great should be considered great because he was well educated, learning science, geography and literature. From a young age he showed signs of being a leader, he trained horses, used weapons and commanded troops. When he became king, he put his military training to effect and conquered lands such as Persia, and kept moving further to southwest Asia. After he died he had a large cultural impact, and Greek settlers through the empire adopted new ways, and a more vibrant culture emerged. |
