| The Pueblo Revolt was a revolt against the Spanish. Pueblo, Apache, and Navajo peoples joined in the fight. Reasons for the Pueblo Revolt were that Spanish peoples were taking over N. A.'s lands and villages, and enslaving them. The leader of the revolt was Pope. The Spanish were driven out of New Mexico for about 12 yrs. (1680-1692) They came back once Pope died since the N.A.'s weren't as united.[image] |
